报告摘要：We will discuss some recent progress on the asymptotic behaviors of principal eigenvalues for time-periodic parabolic operators, with applications to infectious disease models. The talk is based on joint works with Shuang Liu (Beijing Institute of Technology), Rui Peng (Jiangsu Normal University) and Maolin Zhou (Chern Institute).
报告人简介：楼元，1988年北京大学数学学士、1991年北京大学数学硕士、1995年美国明尼苏达大学博士、MSRI(1995-96）和芝加哥大学数学系（1996-98）博士后、 1998-2021俄亥俄州立大学数学系终身教职系列助理教授、副教授、教授。2022年1月起任上海交通大学数学科学学院讲席教授。曾任美国数学生物研究所副所长（2009-2013）。其研究兴趣是反应扩散方程理论以及在生物学中的应用，发表学术论文130余篇，引用3600多次，部分研究成果发表于Comm. Pure Appl. Math、 Memoirs AMS等重要学术杂志。目前担任J. Differential Equations、 J. Math. Biol、SIAM J. Appl. Math.等多个国内外期刊编委以及DCDS-B共同主编。
